
FIPAN 2025 - The 15 Best Gelato Masters in Brazil compete for a spot in the World Final

The Gelato Festival World Masters, the international competition traveling the world in search of the best gelato flavors, is moving toward the much-anticipated World Final. On July 22 and 23, the Brazilian Final will take place in São Paulo, during FIPAN, one of the largest bakery and confectionery trade fairs in Latin America. At the booth of Carpigiani's distributor, 3L Locações (Street 5/6, booths A/B), a selected panel of experts will decide which of the 15 competing gelato masters will earn the two available spots for the world final.
Here is the list of the 15 best gelato masters in Brazil whose flavors will compete for the two spots in the World Final of the Gelato Festival World Masters. These 15 names were selected in 2023 and 2024 (in alphabetical order):

The Brazilian Final is organized by Carpigiani do Brasil and the distributor 3L Locações, part of the Metalfrio group, in collaboration with Carpigiani Gelato University — the most renowned school in the world for successful gelato entrepreneurs — and Sigep – Italian Exhibition Group, the leading global B2B trade show dedicated to artisanal gelato, pastry, bakery, and coffee.
With the 2022–25 edition, the Gelato Festival World Masters marks its sixteenth year of activity, having debuted in Florence in 2010, inspired by the creation of the first gelato recipe by the multifaceted architect Bernardo Buontalenti in 1559. Since then, the event has expanded its horizons: first across Italy, then Europe, and — since 2017 — to the United States, eventually covering the entire globe with the world championship Gelato Festival World Masters, which had over 3,500 gelato makers participating in the 2017–2021 edition.
