Carpigiani will be among the key players at Sigep World 2026 – the International Trade Show dedicated to gelato, pastry, artisanal bakery, and coffee taking place in Rimini from January 16 to 20. At Booth 061 in Hall C1, visitors will be able to discover the best of frozen dessert technology and meet with Carpigiani technicians and instructors from Carpigiani Gelato University for dedicated business-development consultations.
In the area dedicated to Carpigiani Gelato University, visitors will also be able to attend demonstrations by instructors showcasing the new specialization courses, such as “Gelato Business Week,” “Gelato with Tea, Herbal Infusions and Steeping,” “Gelato and Coffee,” and “Alcoholic Gelato and Sorbets: New Techniques.”
Carpigiani will also sponsor some of the most important competitions taking place during Sigep 2026, including:
- Gelato World Cup – 11th Edition, January 16–20, 2026
After national and continental selections held between 2024 and 2025, 12 teams from five continents will arrive in Rimini to compete for the world title, facing eight challenges covering Gelato, Pastry, Chocolate, and Haute Cuisine.
The competing nations are: Argentina, Belgium, China, Ecuador, France, Japan, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Poland, and Singapore.

Sixteen gelato makers will compete for the four spots reserved for Italy in the World Final scheduled for 2026.
